‘We are winning on everything’ yet ‘very unfair media says Putin has already won’ – Trump

United States (US) President, Donald Trump, has fumed over reactions from “very unfair media” on his meeting with his Russian counterpart, saying, President of Russia, Vladimir Putin “has already won”.

The US President who heavily disagreed said, “we are winning on everything.”

President Trump is set to discuss the fighting in Ukraine with Putin at a military base in Alaska that was essential to countering the Soviet Union during the height of Cold War and still plays a role today.

The meeting is scheduled to take place on Friday at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, as made known by a White House official who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss internal planning.

Taking to Truth Social, President Trump said: “Very unfair media is at work on my meeting with Putin. Constantly quoting fired losers and really dumb people like John Bolton, who just said that, even though the meeting is on American soil, “Putin has already won.”

“What’s that all about? We are winning on EVERYTHING. The Fake News is working overtime (No tax on overtime!). If I got Moscow and Leningrad free, as part of the deal with Russia, the Fake News would say that I made a bad deal!

“But now they’ve been caught. Look at all of the real news that’s coming out about their CORRUPTION. They are sick and dishonest people, who probably hate our Country. But it doesn’t matter because we are winning on everything!!! MAGA”

All through its long history, the base hosted enormous numbers of aircraft and oversaw operations of a variety of early warning radar sites that were targeted at detecting Soviet military activity, as well as, any possible nuclear launches.

It bagged the motto “Top Cover for North America” at this time, according to the base website.

While a host of the military hardware has since been deactivated, the base still holds key aircraft squadrons, encompassing the F-22 Raptor stealth fighter jet.

Aircrafts from the base also still hinder Russian aircraft that constantly fly into the American airspace.
