The French President’s question is coming following Trump’s “historic election victory”.
Donald Trump emerged 47th President of the United States (US) after defeating Kamala Harris in the US Presidential Election 2024 conducted on Tuesday 5 November, 2024.
Macron said, “Donald Trump was elected by Americans to defend the interests of Americans.”
In his congratulatory message to Trump, the French Leader said, “ready to work together as we did for four years.”
According to President Macron: “Donald Trump was elected by Americans to defend the interests of Americans.
The question we, as Europeans, must ask ourselves is, are we ready to defend the interests of Europeans?”
