The win takes the hosts to the ninth spot of the table with fifteen (15) points, while Sunshine Stars sit on the 14th spot with thirteen (13) points, both after eleven (11) games each.
It was Christian Nkwo who found the winner for Emmanuel Amuneke’s side early, in the 8th minute; the hosts held on until the end and carted all three (3) points to move into the top ten of the top flight.
