Senator Shehu Sani believes that, children born to a couple of “two different tribes” end up not speaking the languages of any of them.
He said, instead, the children speak English or the “dominant” language in their environment.
Senator Sani said: “When couple from two different tribes marry, most times their children speaks neither the language of the father nor that of the mother, but English and the dominant language in their environment.”
