Umo Eno, Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, said, his administration is committed to working closely with the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) to strengthen security, particularly along the State’s waterways.
Eno said, the South-South State takes security “seriously”, adding, his government has kept “close collaboration” with every of its security agencies as he thanked NAF for their “dedication and partnership”.
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has a new base in Eket, as well as, land for “the adjoining barracks” which has already been allocated.
Governor Eno said via X: “Yesterday, I received a delegation from the Nigerian Air Force led by the Air Officer Commanding Mobility Command, Yenagoa, Air Vice Marshal Sunday Aneke.
