Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has sent condolences to Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, following the passing of his Father on Friday 15 November, 2024.

NFF wrote: “Our thoughts and prayers are with @NGSuperEagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali who lost his Father earlier today. May his soul rest in peace.”
Nwabali was in action for Nigeria in the Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) 2025 qualifier against Benin on Friday 15 November, 2024 in Benin which ended 1-1.
The outcome handed Nigeria its ticket to the continental football tournament in Morocco.
