The Englishman scored the final goal of a thrilling match at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Sunday 29 June, 2025, as Bayern fended off their Brazilian opponents.

It looked set to be an untroubled afternoon for the Bundesliga 2024/25 Winners in Florida when Kane arrowed in a left-footed strike in off the post to make it 2-0 to Vincent Kompany’s Bavarians.

Erick Pulgar, who later had to be stretched out of action, had gifted Bayern the lead with an own goal six minutes in.

Flamengo reacted brilliantly, and after Manuel Neuer made a fine save to deny Luiz Araujo, captain Gerson lashed in an unstoppable drive in the 33rd minute.

German midfielder, Leon Goretzka, netted with an equally brilliant long-range shot in the 41st minute, however, Bayern’s lead was cut again early in the second half.

Former Arsenal midfielder, Jorginho, then added the second for Flamengo in the 54th minute from the penalty spot after Michael Olise handled in the area.

Kane restored Bayern Munich’s two-goal gap in the 73rd minute after converting Joshua Kimmich’s assist.
