Governors under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) have reaffirmed their commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Governors reaffirmed their commitment to the President at the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) hosted by the Executive Governor of Edo State, Sen. Monday Okpebholo.
The 2-day strategic regional meeting in Benin City concluded on Saturday 28 June, 2025.
Taking to his official X account, Governor Okpebholo said: “It was a great honour to welcome my fellow progressive Governors to Edo State yesterday.Hosting them here in the ancient city of Benin is both a privilege and a strong statement of our shared commitment to Nigeria’s development.
“We held strategic meetings focused on strengthening governance, deepening collaboration, and charting clear paths to move our country forward under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
“Today, we continue with more deliberations as we unite to shape a future of progress, stability, and opportunity for all Nigerians.”
In his welcome message, Governor Okpebholo said: “On behalf of the great people of Edo State, I am honoured to welcome the Chairman and esteemed members of the Progressive Governors Forum(PGF) to the ancient city of Benin, Edo State — the Heartbeat of the Nation — for the Inaugural PGF Regional Meeting.
“This gathering of Nigeria’s progressive leaders is more than a meeting; it is a moment of unity, purpose, and shared commitment to advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda.”
