Dominant Juventus whitewash Al-Ain 5-0 in FIFA Club world Cup

French forward, Randal Kolo Muani, and Portuguese winger, Francisco Conceicao, both netted braces as Italian side, Juventus, displayed their quality in a beautiful victory against Al Ain.

Juventus FC made a beautiful opening statement at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 with a victory against Al Ain FC at Audi Field in Washington, winning by five (5) goals to zero (0) on Thursday 19 June, 2025.

With Weston McKennie, USA international, wearing the captain’s armband, the Bianconeri put the clash away in the first half by finding the back of the net four (4) times, two by Randal Kolo Muani. Francisco Conceicao also netted a brace for Juventus.

With this result, Juventus sit at the top of Group G over Manchester City, who were 2-0 winners against Wydad AC.

Kolo Muani opened scoring for Juventus in the 11th minute and Conceicao added the second in the 21st minute.

The Frenchman sealed Juventus’ dominant first 45 minutes in the 4th minute of additional time, applying his speed and power to manoeuvre through his marker and beat goalkeeper Patricio for a 4-0 half-time advantage, after K. Yildiz had converted K. Thuram’s assist in the 31st minute to make it three.

Conceicao displaying his goal-scoring prowess, dribbled his way through Al Ain defenders, and then finding the net with a left-footed shot in the 58th minute for a 5-0 gap.

Juventus and Al-Ain will play their second games of the tournament on Sunday 22 June. Al Ain will slug it out with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, while Juventus will face Wydad Casablanca at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
