Netherlands Eredivisie outfit, AFC Ajax, have reached an agreement with Premier League club, Liverpool, and Vitezslav Jaros.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper moves on loan from the English Kings. He will return to Liverpool once the loan period expires.

Jaros was born on July 23, 2001, in Příbram, Czech Republic, and joined from Slavia Prague to Liverpool’s youth academy in 2017.

In the years since, he has been loaned out to different clubs, most recently to Sturm Graz. With the Austrian side, Jaros clinched the double in 2024. This recent season, the international debuted for Liverpool’s first team, with whom he won the English Premier League 2024/25.

Alex Kroes, Technical Director, said: “We’re very pleased to have brought Vitezslav to Amsterdam. Despite his young age, he has already gained valuable experience and played a full part as a back-up goalkeeper with the English champions.

“His ability to play out from the back is of a very high level, he is athletic, reads space well, and provides calmness to the defence. His arrival definitely gives our squad a boost in quality.”
