Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN), Antonio Guterres, has called for a “stop” to the “escalation” in the fighting betwe Iran and Israel.
The fighting between the Republic of Iran and the State of Israel started after Israel launched surprise attacks at Iran’s nuclear and missile sites.
Israel’s strikes killed top Iranian Commanders and scientists.
Guterres said, “enough escalation”, adding, “time to stop”.
President of the United States (US), Donald Trump, has said, Iran has to make a deal and save what is left of the Iranian Empire.
Guterres said: “Israeli bombardment of Iranian nuclear sites. Iranian missile strikes in Tel Aviv. Enough escalation.
“Time to stop. Peace and diplomacy must prevail.”
On Saturday, both sides exchange missile strikes.
