Uefa Champions League 2024/25 (Final): PSG V Inter – ‘Proud to be in the final, nothing has been easy’ – Dembele

Paris Saint-Germaine (PSG) French winger, Ousmane Dembele, who has been very essential in the Les Parisiens reaching the UCL final, said, he is “very proud to be here in the final”.

The France international admitted, the road to the Munich Football Arena, Munich has “not been easy”.

It was PSG that knocked out all the English teams in the Uefa Champions League starting from Manchester City (4-2), Liverpool [(1-1 aggregate), (4-1 pen)], Aston Villa (5-4 aggregate) to Arsenal (3-1 aggregate).

PSG and Inter will fight for the Uefa Champions League trophy on Saturday 31 May, 2025 at Munich Football Arena, Bavaria at 20:00 (WAT); they defeated Arsenal and Barcelona respectively to reach the final.

According to PSG on X, ahead of the showdown, Dembele said: “I’m very proud to be here in the final. Nothing has been easy. It’s just a pleasure to be at this stage of the competition.”

Simone Inzaghi will be looking to clinch the UCL trophy after finishing the Serie A 2024/25 with 81 points, one (1) point behind Antonio Conte’s SSC Napoli, while PSG manager, Luis Enrique, who has already clinched the Coupe De France 2024/25 and Ligue 1 2024/25, will want to finish the season with a treble by lifting the UCL trophy.

PSG winning the UCL trophy will definitely stamp the club as one of the most dominant forces in European football.
