Bundesliga 2024/25: Hoffenheim 0-4 Bayern Munich – Bavarians cruise to victory as Müller bids farewell

German midfielder Thomas Müller’s final game for newly crowned German Kings, Bayern Munich, ended in a beautiful 4-0 win as the champions made light work of Hoffenheim, whose Bundesliga status is secure for another season despite the heavy defeat.

Frenchman, Michael Olise, scored first for Vincent Kompany’s Bavarians in the 33rd minute, before Joshua Kimmich, Serge Gnabry and Harry Kane netted in the 53rd, 80th and 86th minutes respectively to hand Bayern all three (3) points.

Bayern Munich were confirmed Bundesliga 2024/25 winners after Freiburg and Bayer Leverkusen finished 2-2 on May 4, 2025; it was Harry Kane’s first ever trophy.

Following the draw at the Europa-Park Stadion, Leverkusen manager, Xabi Alonso, expressed “mixed feeling” within his camp, saying, “I always tell my players: a 2-0 lead is dangerous”.

Former England and Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand, congratulated Kane on winning his first ever trophy, saying, “the journey is another example of how hard you have to work to get what you want in life.”

In his post-Hoffenheim comments, Kane (X/@HKane) wrote: “The perfect end to a brilliant season. Thank you for your brilliant support, tomorrow we celebrate this title together!”
