It was a walkover for Arsenal as they made light work of reigning champions, Manchester City, winning by five (5) goals to one (1) in the Premier League match at Emirates Stadium on Sunday 2 February, 2025.

Martin Ødegaard opened scoring for Mikel Arteta’s Gunners very early, in the 2nd minute, but Norwegian striker, Erling Braut Haaland, levelled in the 55th minute for the Cityzens.
In the 56th minute, midfielder Thomas Partey placed the hosts in front again, and Myles Lewis-Skelly, Kai Havertz and Ethan Nwaneri scored the third, fourth and fifth in the 62nd, 76th minutes and 3rd minute of additional time respectively.
The win means Arsenal remain 2nd with 50 points, while Manchester City are 4th with 41 points.
