Barcelona moved clear atop of LaLiga after securing a 4-3 victory over rivals Real Madrid in El Clasico.
The win extends the lead over Madrid in second to seven (7) points for Hansi Flick’s Catalans, with three (3) games left in the campaign following a seven-goal thriller at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.
French forward, Kylian Mbappe’s double within the first 15 minutes of the showdown fired Carlo Ancelotti’s Los Blancos into a commanding lead but Eric Garcia’s header started the comeback for his side.
Lamine Yamal then curled in a beautiful leveller just after the half-hour mark before Raphinha scored a quickfire brace to give Barcelona a 4-2 lead at the break.
20 minutes remaining, Mbappe completed his hat-trick which wasn’t enough to inspire a comeback for the visitors.
HC: Ancelotti has really achieved a lot with Real Madrid, but, he should go. He lost all four Clasicos. Can you imagine that?! Meaning, if he stays on, Real Madrid may never win Hansi Flick’s Barcelona…a new tactician should come to Madrid
