Paris Saint-Germaine (PSG) Moroccan defender, Achraf Hakimi, clinched the Player Of The Match award, following his beautiful performance for the French side in the UCL match against Arsenal on Wednesday night.
PSG defeated Arsenal 2-1 in the Uefa Champions League semi final second leg at Parc des Princes on Wednesday 7 May 2024.
The Morocco international scored PSG’s second goal in the 72nd minute to help Luis Enrique’s side reach the final of the tournament.
Fabian Ruiz opened scoring for the hosts in the 21st minute; Bukayo Saka netted Arsenal’s goal in the 76th minute.
Despite taking possession of the ball more, Mikel Arteta’s side were unable to find the leveller.
PSG will face Inter, who knocked out Barcelona with 7-6 aggregate win, in the final of the UCL at Allianz Arena, Munich, Germany on 31 May, 2025.
