Governor of Benue State , Hyacinth Alia, made known, he received, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, the Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, who led a delegation on a condolence visit to commiserate with the Government and people of Benue State over the “senseless killings of our people by armed herders”.
In the most recent attacks in Benue State, more than fifty (50) people were killed, Governor Alia disclosed.
Alia said: “During the week, I received the Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, who led a delegation on a condolence visit to commiserate with the Government and people of Benue State over the senseless killings of our people by armed herders.
“I deeply appreciate His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi Sule, for this thoughtful gesture and for standing with us during this difficult time.”
