Galatasaray made light work of Konyaspor, winning 5-1, in the final stage of the Turkish Cup on Tuesday 22 April, 2025 to reach the final.
Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen, opened scoring for the Yellow-Reds, perfecting heading in Dries Mertens cross in the 26th minute.
L. Torreira scored in the 42nd minute, R. Sallai netted a brace in the 47th and 55th minutes and Y. Demir made it five for Galatasaray in the 1st minute of additional time.
Konyaspor’s consolation came from Pedrinho in the 53rd minute.
In his post-Konyaspor comments, Lucas Torreira said: “Wearing this shirt is an honor.Every match is an opportunity to demonstrate our commitment and dedication.
“We’re in the cup final and we’re going all out!Always together.”
