Kompany’s Bayern will face FC Heidenheim in the Budnesliga 2024/25 match at Allianz Arena on Saturday 7 December, 2024 at 15:30 (WAT).
At his press conference ahead of the top flight encounter, Kompany said:
On Pavlovic…
“Pavlo is available. There’s no limit on how long he can play. He’s not played for a while, but he’s available.”
On who’s fit…
“Manuel Neuer has discomfort with his ribs. It also looks like Serge Gnabry won’t be involved either. Aleksandar Pavlovic is available.”
On Heidenheim…
“They’re playing in Europe. It’s always tough to be competitive in both competitions. What Heidenheim have done over the last 20 years is good. They’re a very solid club. It’ll be another important game for us.”
On team morale…
“You need to go back six months and look at where we were. Nobody really thought then that we’d be in this position now. The fact that we’re in this position of just expecting the best again is a good sign. I’m now in Heidenheim mode, so I’m not thinking about the past.”
