First Lady of Osun State, Chief (Mrs) Titilola Adeleke, announced, she alongside Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, distributed 10,000 professional kits to midwives in Akure, Ondo State.
The distribution of the kits was made under the health intervention of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI).
Chief (Mrs) Adeleke said: “I am delighted and honored to have joined Distinguished Senator (Dr) Oluremi Tinubu, First Lady of the Federal Republic Nigeria on a 2-day official visit to Ondo State capital, Akure for the distribution of 10,000 professional kits (crocs and scrubs) to midwives under the health intervention of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI).

“Part of activities for the programme was the official launch of the “Free to Shine” South-West Zone, for triple eliminate campaign of Hiv/Aids, Syphilis and Hepatitis among women of reproductive ages, being a initiative of the Organization of African First Ladies for Development (OAFLAD). These health interventions are being enjoyed courtesy of the Nigeria First Lady in other zones across the country with far reaching results on improving the welfare and standard of living of women across the nation. South West States First Ladies are to lead campaign in their various states on these deadly diseases as frontline agent of change.
