President Yoon has been suspended while the prime minister is serving as acting president.

Now, the constitutional court has six (6) months to make a decision whether to sustain his impeachment.

204 MPs in total approved Yoon’s impeachment after the President plunged the Asian country into turmoil with a short-lived martial law declaration last week.

Yoon said, “I am temporarily stopping my journey”, adding, he will “do my best for the country until the end”.
