Lee Jae-Sung netted both goals for Mainz 05 in the 41st and 60th minutes, and Leroy Sane pulled one back for the Bavarians late, in the 87th minute.
Bayern Munich still remain at the top of the table with thirty-three (33) points, trailed by reigning champions, Bayer Leverkusen, who defeated Augsburg 2-0 on Saturday, while Mainz 05 are sixth with twenty-two points (22).
