Leicestershire Police said, Sundeep Singh has thought the family home was left to him by his father, who is late, and this ignited arguments.

Mrs Kaur had reported the 48-year old to the Police, and he was arrested previously on suspicion of controlling and coercive behaviour and bailed, before he was allowed into the house by his mother on the day of the murder.

Police revealed, Singh had been living in his car on the driveway of the house at the time of the killing.

Evidence from CCTV showed Singh later going to purchase a heavy duty two-wheeled trolley and spade from a nearby shop.
