Ilkay Gundogan opened the scoring with his 50th goal for the Club, before Kevin De Bruyne added a second with a superb outside of the boot strike from 20-yards.
The Belgian then turned provider as City sliced through the Cherries with a slick counter-attack that saw Phil Foden fire past Mark Travers to make it 3-0 before half-time.
