Peter Obi, Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate, paid popular clergyman, Pastor Tunde Bakare, a visit at his church, Citadel Global Community Church (CGCC), in Lagos.

As expected, Obi has been travelling around since he emerged the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party to gather all the support he needs for the forthcoming 2023 Elections.
Pastor Tunde Bakare welcomed him and granted him the opportunity to bare his mind to the congregation.
Obi said: “I don’t talk about politics in the church, I always come to church for prayers and for blessings. Power is by the grace of God and he gives it to whomever he wants. If you abuse power, you have abused the grace of God, those of us who are leaders, pray for Nigeria.”
Pastor Tunde Bakare actually contested during the Presidential primaries under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress (APC), however, he won zero votes. He lost to the winner, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
