49th Vice President of the United States (US), Kamala Harris, has come out to vent over Trump’s recent threat of wiping out a “whole civilization”, saying, the US President is “threatening to commit war crimes”.
Harris, who contested in the US Presidential Election in 2024 under the Democratic Party, said, Donald Trump started a “disastrous war”, but, has “no plan” for how it will end.
The 47th US President threatened to end a “whole civilization” if Iran refuses to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or make a deal, however, said, “something revolutionarily wonderful can happen tonight”, afterall, a “complete and total regime change” has been achieved.
Kamala Harris said, Trump’s war with Iran is “abhorrent” and has no “support” of the American people.
She reacted: “The President of the United States is threatening to commit war crimes and wipe out a “whole civilization” — all because he started a disastrous war of his own making and had no plan and no strategy for how to end it.
“This is abhorrent, and the American people do not support this.”
Harris said, the US President’s “recklessness” is adversely affecting America’s “global standing”, as well as, making life difficult for the people of America.
Kamala Harris, who represented California in the United States Senate from 2017 to 2021, said: “Trump’s recklessness is needlessly putting our brave service members in harm’s way, destroying America’s global standing, and making life even more unaffordable for the American people.
“We must all stand against this and oppose funding this illegal war of choice.”
Harris lost in the US Presidential Election 2024 to Donald Trump, a Republican; she served as US VP under Joe Biden.
