President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured via a statement on X that, his government will find those that unleashed “terror” on the people of Jos in Plateau State on palm Sunday.
Lives were lost in the attacks that happened recently in Jos, the Plateau State Capital.
The President disclosed, he spent time with the victims of the “recent terror”, and said, “no amount of money can bring back the dead”.
However, Tinubu promised his government will do its “best” to ease their pain, as well as, make available necessary assistance.
President Tinubu said: “This afternoon, I spent time with stakeholders and victims of the recent terror incident in Jos, Plateau State.
“No amount of money can bring back the dead, but the Federal Government will do our best to comfort them, walk with them and provide necessary assistance. Rhoda Favour, I feel your pain but no matter what we say, we cannot bring Ayuba back.
“We will find the perpetrators of this dastardly acts.”
The President made known, after his trip to Jos, he will proceed to Lagos for Good Friday.
