Donald Trump, President of the United States (US), has announced, he has instructed the Department of War to postpone “all and any” military strikes against power plants and energy infrastructure of Iran for “a five day period”.
The American President made the announcement on Truth Social; he said, he made the decision following “good and productive” conversations between the United States of America (USA) and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The conversations focused on a “complete and total” resolution of their “hostilities” in the Gulf.
However, Iran’s Parliament speaker has denied discussions held between the two countries, saying “fake news” is being used to “manipulate” the oil markets.
On the other side, Israel is moving combat battalion from Lebanon to the Occupied West Bank due to “wartime surge”.
According to CNN:
Israel is diverting a combat battalion from its northern border with Lebanon to the occupied West Bank amid a wartime surge in settler violence against Palestinians, according to an Israeli military official.
The redeployment of a battalion, which consists of hundreds of troops, marks a significant decision as Israel is expanding its ground operations against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
President Trump announced: “I AM PLEASED TO REPORT THAT THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, AND THE COUNTRY OF IRAN, HAVE HAD, OVER THE LAST TWO DAYS, VERY GOOD AND PRODUCTIVE CONVERSATIONS REGARDING A COMPLETE AND TOTAL RESOLUTION OF OUR HOSTILITIES IN THE MIDDLE EAST.
“BASED ON THE TENOR AND TONE OF THESE IN DEPTH, DETAILED, AND CONSTRUCTIVE CONVERSATIONS, WHICH WILL CONTINUE THROUGHOUT THE WEEK, I HAVE INSTRUCTED THE DEPARTMENT OF WAR TO POSTPONE
“ANY AND ALL MILITARY STRIKES AGAINST IRANIAN POWER PLANTS AND ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE FOR A FIVE DAY PERIOD, SUBJECT TO THE SUCCESS OF THE ONGOING MEETINGS AND DISCUSSIONS.”
It is now nearing a month since the United States (US) and Israel launched their attacks on Iran.
The US President said, the attack was to remove the nuclear threats of Iran.
