In their openers, Nigeria and Tunisia emerged winners over Tanzania and Uganda, winning 2-1 and 3-1 in Fes and Rabat respectively.
Nigeria and Tunisia will slug it out in their second Group C match on Saturday 27 December, 2025 in Fes at 21:00 (WAT); whoever wins takes the top spot of the Group and clinches a ticket to the knockouts of the tournament.
The Super Eagles posted on X: “Under the chill of a 10°C evening, the Super Eagles put in the final touches ahead of #NGATUN.”
While Nigeria has won the AFCON title three (3) times in 1980, 1994 and 2013, Tunisia has won it once in 2004 on home soil.
