X user, Islam Bouafif (@BouafifNour), has described Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen, as an “absolute monster”.
His words are coming after Osimhen’s “scary” performance for the Super Eagles in the Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) second Group C match against Tunisia on Saturday 27 December, 2025 in Fes, Morocco.
Osimhen inspired Nigeria to a 3-2 win over the Carthage Eagles with his opener in the 44th minute – a goal provided by Ademola Lookman, Atalanta forward.
The X user confessed, playing against the former SSC Napoli striker is “genuinely scary and frustrating”, and said, “he’s seriously wasting his prime years” playing for Galatasaray in Turkey.
@BouafifNour continued, the Tunisians are not “usually this bad” in the centre back, and that, Osimhen, “physically he is on another level and his jumping ability is insane”.
Islam Bouafif wrote: “As someone whose team just faced Osimhen, I have to say playing against him is genuinely scary and frustrating. Our centre backs aren’t usually this bad, and we rarely struggle this much when defending crosses. But this guy is an absolute monster.
“Right now, I genuinely think he has the best box presence in world football. His movement is extremely intelligent, he knows exactly when and where to attack the space, and physically he is on another level. His strength makes it almost impossible to duel with him, his jumping ability is insane, and he always seems to be at the end of every single cross.
“With all due respect to Galatasaray, he’s seriously wasting his prime years in Turkey. He deserves a better team in a top league.”
