Manchester United were held 1-1 by West Ham United in the Premier League 2025/26 match at Old Trafford on Thursday 4 December, 2025.
The first 45 minutes which finished without a goal had Ruben Amorim’s Reds mount a lot of pressure and moving closest to breaching the deadlock when Dutch forward, Joshua Zirkzee, kneed Ivorian winger, Amad’s cross towards goal from close range, however, it was cleared off the line by Aaron Wan-Bissaka, former Manchester United defender.
The home side did not cease to press after the interval and it paid off, with defender, Diogo Dalot, finding the back of the net in the 58th minute.
United stayed in front until the 83rd minute, but, the Hammers found their way through when Soungoutou Magassa fired home a rebound from close range, this forced Manchester United to settle for a pint on home soil.

The Reds were more confident on the ball in the opening moments of the clash; defender Matthijs De Ligt was sidelined as a result of injury and juvenile defender, Ayden Heaven, was handed the central position in Amorim’s back three.
