Manchester City sharpshooter from Norway, Erling Braut Haaland, netted twice and provided one as the Cityzens carted their fifth Premier League win back-to-back, cruising past West Ham 3-0 at Etihad Stadium on Saturday 20 December, 2025.
Haaland has now exceeded 200 goal involvements in Europe’s top five leagues as Pep Guardiola’s Cityzens bagged an easy victory over the Hammers on Saturday.
The Norway international, who scored his 100th Premier League goal earlier in December in a 5-4 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage, has now recorded 124 goal involvements in the English top flight – 104 goals and 20 assists – ; he also has 77 in the Bundesliga, German top tier football – 62 goals, 15 assists.
In the 5th minute of play, Haaland opened the scoring for Manchester City, and in the 38th minute, the home side added the second after Haaland provided for Tijjani Rejinders.
The Cityzens were heavily dominant in the first 45 minutes, handing West Ham no single attempt at goal, and only amassing two (2) touches in the penalty area.
The Hammers were more determined in the second half with City goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma, forced to make double quick save to deny Crysencio Summerville and Freddie Potts.
But, West Ham’s hopes of coming back into the showdown was put to rest after Haaland netted the third goal in the 69th minute.
Haaland, who played for Borussia Dortmund from 2020 to 2022, recorded his 201 goal involvements in the Bundesliga and the Premier League in just 165 matches.
