Nigeria’s Rivers United have been drawn in Group A of the CAF Champions League 2025/26.
Finidi George’s Pride of Rivers have been drawn alongside Morocco’s RS Berkan, Egypt’s Pyramids FC and Power Dynamos FC of Zambia.
Rivers United, that features in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), made history after beating Black Bulls Maputo of Mozambique in the second leg of their qualifying tie at Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The Nigerian side suffered a lone goal defeat in the fist leg.
The draw for the Group stage was held on 3 November 2025, in Johannesburg, South Africa. The 16 winners of the second round of qualifying rounds were drawn into four Groups of four.
