Luis Diaz nets brace, bags red card as Bayern Munich beat PSG in Paris

Luis Diaz’s brace was helpful for 10-man Bayern Munich as the German Kings maintained their perfect start to the season at the expense of Defending Champions of Europe, Paris St-Germain (PSG).

Right inside Parc Des Princes, Vincent Kompany’s Bayern Munich defeated Luis Enrique’s PSG 2-1 in the Uefa Champions League 2025/26 League Phase on Tuesday 4 November, 2025.

The outcome was Bayern Munich’s 16th successive win in all competitions, encompassing four out of four in the Champions League to top the League Phase table.

The visitors opened scoring very early, in the 4th minute, when Luis Diaz converted Michael Olise’s assist. The former Liverpool player added the second in the 32nd minute, however, was sent off on the stroke of half-time following a rash challenge from behind on Achraf Hakimi.

Diaz, Colombian winger, though, was sent off just before the break for his tackle on Hakimi. A yellow card was changed to a red after a review from the video assistant referee (VAR), with the Moroccan clearly angry.

In the 74th minute, substitute Joao Neves pulled one back for the hosts with a bicycle kick.

PSG next host Tottenham on Wednesday, 26 November, while Bayern Munich travel to Arsenal – who have also won all four games – on the same night.
