Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen, netted a brace and contributed to another as Turkish side, Galatasaray, clinched their second successive Uefa Champions League 2025/26 victory in comfortable style against Norwegian side, Bodo/Glimt, at RAMS Park on Wednesday 22 October, 2025.
The Super Eagles forward produced a beautiful display, finding the back of the net twice in the first 45 minutes and assisting Yunus Akgun after the break to seal back-to-back wins in the competition for the first time since December 2012.
Osimhen’s brace also meant he emerged the first Galatasaray player to net in seven (7) successive matches in major European competitions, shattering the mark set by Burak Yilmaz between October 2012 and March 2013.
The Yellow-Reds took the lead when the Nigeria international scored early, in the 3rd minute; the former SSC Napoli striker then added the second for the home side in the 33rd minute.
Akgun scored the third for Galatasaray in the 60th minute before substitute Andreas Helmersen scored a late consolation for the Norwegian Kings, who have yet to claim a victory in the UCL League Phase.

Following a slim triumph over Premier League side, Liverpool, in their previous showdown, the result lifted Okan Buruk’s Galatasaray side up to 14th in the table from 21st.
For his amazing performance for Galatasaray, Victor Osimhen emerged Man Of The Match.
