The Nigerian Presidency has said, Nigeria is ready to take “media fight back to western fake news media outlets”.
The Presidency through Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Policy Communication, said, the “western fake media outlets have begun their fake news propaganda campaign against Nigeria”.
He said, the “aim” is to show Nigeria to the world as “unfriendly for bussiness”, adding, this is happening at a time when Nigeria is speedily emerging as a “destination for global investors”.
Bwala said: “The western fake news media, probably sponsored by foreign interests have begun their fake news propaganda campaign against Nigeria. The aim is to present Nigeria as unfriendly for bussiness, at a time when the nation is rapidly becoming a destination for global investors.
“Is it a coincidence that this is happening after a known politician visited the US?
“We would take the media fight back to them in their western fake news media outlets.”
