The FCT Police Command has urged that, Police officers be allowed to carry out their responsibilities “diligently, without interference”.
It said, giving money to officers while performing their duties is “unlawful”.
The FCT Police Command posted on X: “It is unlawful to give our officers money or any form of inducement while they are performing their duty. Let them discharge their responsibilities diligently, without interference.”
It assured, the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) is committed to serving Nigerians with “integrity”.
It further posted: “The Nigeria Police Force is committed to serving you with integrity. Your cooperation is vital,together, we can build a safer society.”
