One goal and assist from English attacking midfielder, Phil Foden, handed a comfortable 2-0 triumph to Manchester City against Huddersfield Town to clinch their place in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will now slug it out with Championship side, Swansea City, away from home in the fourth round, with fixtures set to be played in the week commencing October 27.
Nico O’Reilly and Foden were the only two that kept their spots in the starting eleven that fielded against Arsenal on Sunday; an encounter that finished 1-1, at Emirates Stadium.
Foden struck for the Cityzens in the 18th minute before Savinho sealed the win for the visitors in the 74th minute to help City progress.
