In his debut for Arsenal, Eberechi Eze, had a goal contribution as Mikel Arteta’s Gunners breezed past Nottingham Forest 3-0 in the Premier League 2025/26 match at Emirates Stadium on Saturday 13 September, 2025.
A beautiful goal from Martin Zubimendi opened the scoring for the hosts in the 32nd minute before Eze, who joined Arsenal from Crystal Palace, assisted the second goal scored by Viktor Gyokeres in the 46th minute.
Spanish defensive midfielder, Zubimendi, who moved to North London from Real Sociedad, netted his brace and the third for Arsenal in the 79th minute, converting Leandro Trossard’s assist.
This defeat is hitting Nottingham Forest following the sacking of Portuguese manager, Nuno Espirito Santo, who has been replaced by Ange Postecoglou, former Tottenham Hotspur head coach, who led the Spurs to Uefa Europa League 2024/25 glory.
Nuno Espirito helped Nottingham Forest secure a spot in the Uefa Europa League 2025/26; the Foresters alongside Aston Villa will represent England in the competition.
