Manchester United beat Chelsea 2-1 on Saturday 20 September, 2025 in the Premier League 2025/26 match at Old Trafford.
Both sides lost one player each as Blues goalkeeper, Robert Sanchez, was given a straight red in the 4th minute, while, Casemiro who had scored the winner was sent off in the fifth minute of the fifth minute of first half additional time.
Brumo Fernandes and Casemiro scored for Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United in the 14th and 37th minutes respectively, before Trevor Chalobah netted for the Blues in the 80th minute.
Chelsea made two (2) changes to their starting XI, as French defender, Wesley Fofana, returned in the center of defence in replacement of Tosin, while Estevao Willian came into the side in place of Malo Gusto, with Reece James taking to right-back.
