Dutch attacking midfielder, Justin Kluivert, has received a Guinness World Records Certificate after emerging the football (soccer) player to net the most penalties in an English Premier League match.
This feat was achieved by the Netherlands National team player in the English top flight encounter between his side, AFC Bournemouth, and Wolverhampton Wanderers on 30 November, 2024.
Guinness World Record (GWR) posted on X: “Congratulations to Justin Kluivert of @afcbournemouth who was recently presented with his certificate for the most penalties scored by a football (soccer) player in an English Premier League match.
“Justin’s hat-trick of penalties took place as Bournemouth played Wolves on 30 November 2024, with a final score of 4-2 to the Cherries.”
The midfielder’s Father, Patrick Kluivert, during his playing days, emerged the “youngest player” to hit the back of the net in the Uefa Champions League final at the age of eighteen (18), 327 days.
Patrick’s goal was the “only goal” of the Uefa Champions League 1995 final between his side, Ajax, and AC Milan.
GWR further posted: “Talent runs in the family – Justin’s father Patrick Kluivert became the youngest player to score in a UEFA Champions League final at 18 years 327 days old when he scored the only goal in the 1995 UEFA Champions League final, playing for Ajax (Netherlands) against AC Milan (Italy).”
