‘A woman of great compassion’ – Governor Uzodimma pens tribute to Oluremi on 65th birthday

Hope Uzodimma, Executive Governor of Imo State, has described First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, as a “woman of great substance and compassion” as she turns sixty-five (65) on Sunday 21 September, 2025.

He said, the First Lady has shown “unwavering” commitment to national service.

A “pillar of strength” to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Governor further described the First Lady, saying, she has “touched” lives and “uplifted” communities all over the country.

Uzodimma prayed God’s blessings of “long life and sound health” upon the First Lady as she continues to serve Nigeria.

In his tribute to the First Lady via X, Governor Uzodimma wrote: “I join millions of Nigerians in honouring a woman of great substance, compassion, and unwavering commitment to national service, H.E. Senator (Dr.) Oluremi Tinubu, CON @SenRemiTinubu.

“You have been a pillar of strength and an enduring beacon of support to our amiable President, exemplifying grace, wisdom, and purpose in leadership.

“Through your visionary Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), you have continued to touch lives and uplift communities across the country, offering hope where it is needed most. Your tireless dedication to the welfare of the vulnerable is deeply inspiring.

“On this special day, I pray that the Almighty God blesses you with long life, divine strength, and sound health as you continue to serve our great nation with excellence.”
