Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic, said, she and her colleague, Genevieve Nnaji, were just “passionate girls when they started Nollywood”.
Neither of them had no “idea” of the “incredible” journey in front or how the industry would “grow” to affect the whole world.
The ‘La Femme Anjola’ actress said, her heart is filled with “pride” as she sees the progress Nollywood, Nigerian film industry, has attained.
Rita Dominic wrote on X: “When we started in Nollywood all those years ago, we were just passionate girls with a dream. We had no idea the incredible journey ahead or how our industry would grow to touch the entire world. To look around today and see how far we’ve come… It fills my heart with pride. No matter what, we did not walk alone..”
