American Business Executive and former professional Wrestler, Paul Michael Levesque, AKA, Triple H, has expressed gratitude to US President Donald Trump for reviving the Presidential Fitness Test in public schools.
Triple H, 14-time World Champion, said, physical fitness has been a part of his life from a young age, and through it, he has been able to make a living for himself and family “beyong my wildest dreams”.
On Thursday, President Trump said: “From the late 1950s until 2013, graduate scholars all across our country competed against each other in the Presidential Fitness Test, and it was a big deal. This was a wonderful tradition, and we’re bringing it back.”
The Test will be administered by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Health and Human Services Secretary; it will bring back fitness challenge to public schools where children that gain the highest scores will received Presidential recognition.
The Test was abandoned by 44th US President, Barack Obama, and replaced with an assessment called the ‘FitnessGram’ focused on bettering individual health.
Triple H wrote on X: “Honored doesn’t begin to describe what this opportunity means. Physical fitness has been a part of my life from a young age and has created the path to support myself and family beyond my wildest dreams.
“The President’s Council on Physical Fitness is a vehicle to get young people active and healthy.
“Incredibly thankful for the trust reposed in all of the council members by the @realDonaldTrump, @JDVance, and @RobertKennedyJr. @Linda_McMahon @brysondech “
Karoline Leavitt, White House Press Secretary, told CNN in a statement: “President Trump wants every young American to have the opportunity to emphasize healthy, active lifestyles — creating a culture of strength and excellence for years to come.”
