Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed, James Maddison will undergo surgery for a ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) in his right knee.
Maddison, 28 years of age, picked up the injury during Spurs pre-season friendly against Newcastle United on Sunday in Seoul, South Korea.
The English midfielder’s surgery will take place in the coming days and, after that, Maddison will then commence his recovery with Tottenham medical team.
James Maddison moved to Tottenham Hotspur from Leicester City in 2023, and has fielded for the Spurs in more than fifty (50) encounters, scoring more than ten (10) goals.
