Tottenham boss Thomas Frank confirms striker Dominic Solanke has ankle issue

Thomas Frank, head coach of Tottenham Hotspur, has made known, striker, Dominic Solanke, has picked up a minor issue with his ankle.

The Dutchman’s update on the fitness of the English player is coming ahead of the top flight clash between his side, Tottenham, and AFC Bournemouth on Saturday at home.

Tottenham Hotspur will lock horns with AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League 2025/26 match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 30 August, 2025 at 15:00 (WAT).

According to the Club’s official website, Frank said: “He’s got a minor issue with his ankle which has been grumbling a bit, also in pre-season. It is just too much for this game. Now we have the international break so hopefully he can be back after that.”

Tottenham Hotspur are currently on the third spot of the table with six (6) after winning two out of two matches, trailing Arsenal, who also have six (6) points, while AFC Bournemouth are 9th with three (3) points, winning one out of two games.

Frank will be eyeing to maintain his perfect record in the new top flight season with a home win against the Cherries on Saturday afternoon.
