Sanwo-Olu bids farewell to First Lady Oluremi Tinubu after unveiling the Lagos Industrial Leather Hub

Following her “impactful” visit, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has bade farewell to First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, as she departed Lagos today, Saturday 30 August, 2025.

While in Lagos, the First Lady commissioned the Lagos Industrial Leather Hub in Matori, Mushin area of the State, and empowered women and children through the Renewed Hope Initiative Empowerment Program.

Governor Sanwo-Olu posted on X: “Today, we bade the First Lady, Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu, goodbye as she departed Lagos after an impactful visit.

“During her time with us, she empowered women and children through the Renewed Hope Initiative Empowerment Program and commissioned the Lagos Industrial Leather Hub in Matori, the largest in West Africa.

“Her Excellency’s compassion and dedication to women, children, and families is inspiring and her visit strengthens our shared commitment to building a more inclusive society.

“On behalf of the good people of Lagos, I thank her warmly and look forward to welcoming her again soon.”
