Omokri condemns KWAM 1’s actions at Abuja Airport, support NCAA sanctions

Reno Omokri has condemned KWAM 1’s actions at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja and hailed the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) for its swift sanctions on the musician.

A footage showed KWAM 1 preventing a ValueJet aircraft from taxiing and hitting the runway for takeoff.

An action that forced the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, to direct the NCAA to place the Fuji artist on “no-fly list”.

KWAM 1’s actions was described as a “hostage situation” by the Minister, further describing it as “unruly”.

In less than two days of the incident, KWAM 1 has however come out to tender his apology to the country for his actions.

Reacting to KWAM 1’s apology, Reno Omokri posted on X: “Apology Video: King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, AKA K1 De Ultimate, Is 1000 times the man that Peter Obi is!

“I condemn King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, AKA K1 De Ultimate’s actions at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, where he had a run-in with ValueJet, and I support the sanctions the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority placed on him.

“Having said that, I must also commend King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall’s act of accountability in taking responsibility for his actions and apologising to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the nation within 48 hours of the incident.

“To err is weakness, and to continue in your error is wickedness. K1 De Ultimate showed that he, like all humans, is weak. However, he demonstrated that though he may be weak, he is not wicked.

“Therefore, I urge that, within the ambit of the law, justice should be tempered on him with mercy.

“I compare his behaviour to that of the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the #NigerianElections2023, Mr. Peter Obi, who was caught red-handed in a leaked audio threatening to unleash “Religious War” on the Muslim Ummah.

“To date, Mr. Peter Obi has neither admitted what we all know, that he is the one on that leaked ‘Yes Daddy’ tape, nor apologised to the nation and specifically to the Muslim Ummah.

“A man, like Peter Obi, who cannot admit his error when he is not in power, will definitely commit terror when in power!

“It takes courage to do what K1 De Ultimate did—courage that Peter Obi obviously does not have. That is why I salute King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall and continue to respect him.”

HC: Really?! Why the KWAM 1 – Obi comparison?!
