Executive Governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has sent his good wishes to his Predecessor, Willie Obiano, on the occasion of the former Governor’s 70th birthday today, Friday 8 August, 2025.
Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano was born on 8 August, 1955 in Aguleri, Anambra State, Nigeria.
Soludo described Obiano as an “honourable gentleman.”
Obiano served as Governor of Anambra State from 2014 to 2022 and was succeeded by Soludo, former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
In his felicitations to Obiano on X, Soludo wrote: “I’ve had the privilege of knowing a few honourable men, and my predecessor, the former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano (Akpokuedike Aguleri), is one of them. Happy 70th birthday to an honourable gentleman!
“On behalf of my family and the good people of Anambra State, I wish you a joyous celebration. May God Almighty continue to bless the rest of your days with peace, good health, and happiness.”
