Liverpool’s Salah and Arsenal’s Caldentey win PFA Player Of The Year awards 2024/25

Liverpool Egyptian forward, Mohamed Salah, has won a record third PFA Men’s Player of the Year award, and Mariona Caldentey of Arsenal bagging the women’s prize.

The Egypt international netted twenty-nine (29) goals and provided eighteen (18) assists as Arne Slot’s Reds emerged winners of last season’s Premier League title.

33-year old Salah’s beautiful form in 2024/25 saw him dominate the voting by the PFA’s membership and write his name on the books of history as the first three-time Player of the Year winner.

PFA Women’s Player of the Year 29-year old Caldentey, moved to Arsenal last summer and netted nineteen (19) goals in all competitions, including eight on the Gunners’ way to winning the Champions League with triumph in the final against her former club Barcelona.

Salah alongside his Liverpool team-mates Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister, made it into the 2024/25 PFA Premier League Team of the Year.
